This lady marked the beginning of The Color Play Series.
Water on a sheet of paper, clean, transparent, barely noticeable. As the brush touches it, the paint melts forming unique stains and smudges. You cannot control it, you can only watch marveling at the unpredictable beauty. Then it dries, warping the paper, fading a little.
I pick up the paper and look thoroughly. Who is it? Do I know her, or maybe him? Is it a sleeve or skirt hem? Fluffy mohair or thick dyed cotton? And all of a sudden, these smudges and blurring reveal something to me. Of course, this is a cuff and earring! Now I just have to mark the line, thin and dry, to capture the magic that arose so accidentally.
